Abstract

This study lays the groundwork for more detailed and extensive future research on Alar at the
molecular level. This work not only elucidates Alar's harmful effects on the innocent victim
fruitfly Drosophila melanogaster, but also contributes to a better understanding of the
intuitively comparable effects on human physiology and molecular functioning at the
subcellular level. The result shows that all of the selected morphological features, such as
body length, wing length, and arista length, increased significantly over the life history
research. This might be Drosophila's adaptive method to deal with the harsh culture
conditions caused by Alar exposure. The decrease in fecundity demonstrates that treated
female flies have a poor reproductive potential. In the Alar-treated group, shorter pupation
height and lower survival rate are markers of low pre-adult fitness and adult fitness,
respectively. Pupation and adult emergence times were significantly delayed in treated
Drosophila melanogaster groups compared to controls.
