Enhancing Performance And Security Of Diabetic Data In Blockchain

Abstract
The term "blockchain" refers to shared, immutable record made up of series of transactions,
each of which represents a single block and is maintained by a set of cryptographic keys
("hashes"). These signatures are kept in shared ledgers and connected via a network of nodes.
Using blockchain technology in healthcare has led in significant improvements in efficiency,
access control, and the security of data management processes. It has been observed that
previous researches performance got degraded when security is considered. On other hand if
performance is considered then security is influenced. There is need of approach that should
be capable to provide security along with better performance. When COVID-19 pandemic hit
the world, healthcare institutions had an especially difficult time locating the people who
were targeted by the corona virus and learning about their medical histories. Researchers
found that those with preexisting medical disorders including hypertension, diabetes, and
others were most vulnerable to the virus's effects on these illnesses. In addition, it becomes
more difficult for doctors and medical institutions to deal with these examinations in an
acceptable manner without spending a lot of time and money on. The current system's lack of
openness is also a concern that affects efficiency in this situation. Proposed solution focuses
on security and performance enhancement for diabetic data over blockchain.
