Study of Relationship between lean management and organizational performance

Abstract

LEAN management is a concept that is widely used in production management and even
product development that aims to create a true step change, specifically targeted to the buyer
of the goods and services. It is a method that is used to ensure getting rid of waste through
continuous improvement. LEAN management is a flexible process that uses knowledge &
information and is focused on the customer needs and requirements. Lean companies work
hard to reduce waste, lower costs, improve quality, and speed up all aspects of their business
processes. Nowadays, Lean principles are being applied to business processes by companies,
regardless of whether they are a manufacturer or service provider. So, this study aim to
explain the concept of Lean management practices, its implementation for enhancing the
organizational performance across various Industries
