Abstract

Domestic violence is any gender based act which results in the suffering of women.
Domestic Violence. About 1 in 3 or 35% of women worldwide have experienced either
physical and/or sexual violence by an intimate partner or non pertner sexual violence in their
lifetime, according to global estimates by the World Health Organisation, 2020.
