Abstract
India has witnessed significant changes in the twenty-first century as a result of globalization,
liberalization, and privatization, which have significantly altered the definition of work. Global
recessions, trade and industry downturns, heightened competition, workforce shifts, and
technological advancements have forced organizations to adapt quickly to the market's
changing dynamics. Organizations, therefore, keep those individuals who have promise and
are resourceful, and can handle challenging situations. Employees work long hours, adhere to
demanding schedules, and travel great distances to maintain their careers and support their
families. Employees are dealing with a work-life imbalance during this process.
