Abstract

Internet of things (IoT) devices have become a part of everyone's life. From people using
health and activity tracking wrist bands for analyzing their daily activities to hospitals using
the same for patient tests, IoT devices have become a common need for everyone. This leads
to an excess of data collection from each sensor. The continuous data readings from each
sensor needs to be handled and analyzed. Each sensor is currently being handled individually
and requires individual processing of data. All this leads to a very problematic situation when
it comes to the sensors deployed in big industries, as a big site can have numerous sensors of
different types, with each sensor generating enormous amount of data. To facilitate the
industries in such situations we have de-signed an application which brings all the sensors to
a common platform irrespective of the sensor type. The data points are individually handled
and mapped to the sensor they belong to. This gives the user a clear separation for the data
coming from different sensors. The basic purpose of the software is to analyze and operate on
the data coming from the microcontrollers. The application allows the user to make a design
of the sensor they want. The user creates a schema of the sensor and can then add multiple
instances of this sensor to the microcontroller. As soon as we make the physical connections
and deploy our code on the microcontroller, the transfer of data starts from the
microcontroller to our server. The user has a dashboard on the software where one can access
the various features of the application. By clicking on each marker, the user gets the dynamic
graphs representing the data coming to the server from each sensor on that microcontroller.
As a result, we have made a highly optimized and scalable application to serve the stated
purpose. A user can make a dynamic schema for every new type of sensor he wants to add to
the microcontroller. The users are also given a secure signup function for added security
