Abstract
In this article speaks about history and life of the first World wars prisoners in
Kokand. In addition, the article analyzes that the Researchers found that the archival
materials contain a personal list of a medical examination, a list of prisoners of war of the
Austrian army, a nominal list of those who died in the Kokand district, a detailed nominal list
of the Kokand evacuation center and a list of those who do not want to leave for their
homeland. At that time, Kokand was the center for receiving and sending prisoners of war to
other camps in the Ferghana Valley: Andizhan, Skobelev, Osh, Namangan, Jalal-Abad,
Khujand.
