Development and Evaluation of Human Resource Information System

Abstract
This study aimed to design and develop a HRIS: Human Resource Information System. It is developed to address the gap among employees in using the old manual system. HRIS: A Human Resource Information System is designed to support planning, administration, decision-making, and control activities of human resources management, employee selection, placement, training projections, equity monitoring, and productivity evaluation are supported by the information system. The developer used the RAD - Rapid Application Development as model in the development of this study. Thus, this study is designed to centralized information in the institution, particularly, in HR Office. The system evaluation result is usability- 4.4, functionality- 4.3, and the maintainability/efficiency - 4.5 which were evaluated based on the ISO 9126 using the instrument distributed to the respondent. Thus, the system provided significant solution to the HR Office on data management.
