Applying language translation machine technology to improve translation skills and vocabulary for students majoring in Japanese language

Abstract

In this article, we will study the recently widely used machine translation, and analyze its
mechanism and usage as well as its influence on Japanese learners and Japanese interpreters.
Analyze and draw conclusions whether machine translation is superior to human translation
and whether machine translation can completely replace humans and wipe out the translation
industry in the future. The data in this paper were collected through current and previous
research literature. By research method, the article is built on a reliable theoretical basis from
international studies. The results of the explanatory article confirm the future role of machine
translation and its impact on humans; however, the role of the interpreter remains an
irreplaceable role.
