The Artistic World of Park Taevon’s Tale “Nirvana”

Abstract
This article is devoted to the analysis of the plot and compositional organization of the story
“Nirvana” by Park Taevon. The meaning of the title of the story “Nirvana”, which has a
religious content, is revealed. Happy death as the highest state of the human soul” determines
the plot basis of the work; a peculiar form of narration - in the first person takes on the
character of a confession.
The use of various methods of psychological representation in the work is revealed: internal
monologues, public confessions, excerpts from memories, visions. The story is full of deep
philosophical meaning - reflections on a person's place in life, his personal activity in
choosing the path leading to the comprehension of truth. Park Taevon is trying to show the
true value of human life for the modern world.
