GWO Algorithm Based Energy Control Centre for Dgs using Multi Agent System
Main Article Content
Abstract
Globally, the number of distributed energy components and devices are increasing. As a
result, the large amount of data is desirable for distributed control schemes for managing and
utilizing these devices. To manage Distributed Generation (DG), this paper presents a novel
intelligent Energy Control Centre (ECC) using a multi-agent system, The ECC is controlled
by an GWO algorithm, which optimizes the parameters of multi-agents and then schedules
the power supplied by wind, solar and battery systems. After the power schedule decided by
the ECC, the respective control parameters of the controllers of wind, solar and battery are
tuned by GWO algorithm in-order to satisfy the power schedule. The proposed method is
designed and implemented on an isolated microgrid (MG) with two wind, one solar and
battery systems in MATLAB/Simulink environment. From the findings, it is evident that the
effectiveness of the proposed method is better than GA based ECC.
