Secure Multi-Authentication using BlockchainTechnology in Cloud based Internet of Things
Main Article Content
Abstract
The cloud-based Internet of things (IoT) is a popular technology that is utilized in a variety of
applications, including home automation, smart city management, agriculture, healthcare,
and governance. Safe data access, privacy protection, scalability, secure data interchange,
and authentication are some of the main challenges with such centralized cloud-based IoTbased
systems. To address this issue, edge computing and blockchain technology are deployed
to solve above issues. The use of blockchain technology improves the stability, accessibility,
and dependability of cloud-based IOT computing and storage management. This
study proposed Blockchain technology and Time-stamp Server Scheme (BCTSS), a multiauthentication
technology that uses Blockchaining Technology and a Timestamp supervisor
mechanism. It employs the Blockchain Technology Gateway Block algorithm and the
Timestamp Supervisor for secure authentication in cloud-based IoT. Experiments were conducted
by developing cloud-based IOT applications usingJCloud. The proposed BCTSS
quality is compared against public key cryptographic and hash function algorithms, public
key infrastructure, third-party auditing, and strong mathematical permutations. This paper
displays the average, maximum, and minimum transaction times for the proposed multi authentication
technology.
