Resumen

A venturitube is an instrument for determining the flow rate of fluids in pipes. Several industries, including those dealing with aircraft, automobiles, chemicals, and petroleum, among others, make use of this technology. A venturi tube is a device used in the automobile industry for measuring the distribution of fuel and air in carburetors. an extensive CFD study of a venturimeter operating with a nanofluid of cerium oxide (CeO2) made of this material. The primary objective is to investigate the influence of nanofluid concentration and flow rate on the venturimeter's performance parameters, including pressure drop, discharge coefficient, and flow rate measurement accuracy. A 3D model of the venturimeter is developed using a commercial CFD software, and the governing equations are solved numerically.
