The Role of Communication and Education in Raising Awareness of Environmental Protection in Vietnam Today

Resumen

Environmental protection has become an urgent global issue that needs the coordination and
contributions of all countries and the whole human race. Environmental pollution, ozone hole,
global climate change, greenhouse effect, sea level rise, etc. day by the hour, adversely
affecting people's lives and activities. In order to prevent and respond to the above problems,
the countries have discussed and agreed to come up with common regulations as a basis for
each country to have an obligation to abide by. Based on international law and actual conditions
of natural, socio-economic conditions, customs and habits of each country, etc. have developed
and promulgated Laws and guiding documents to regulate the behavior of each individual and
organization. But in order for newly promulgated legal documents to come to life, it is
necessary to propagate, disseminate and educate people to know and implement them; When
you understand and properly understand the provisions of the law, the right action will be taken.
In Vietnam, environmental protection education and propaganda activities have been carried
out but have not yielded good results. This study focuses on analyzing the role of
communication and education in environmental protection activities, thereby proposing
solutions to promote the role of communication and education in environmental protection in
the future.
