Obstacles to the Dissemination of Modern Agricultural Techniques from the Point of View of Agricultural Employees in the Relevant Units in Salah Al-Din Governorate

The main objective of this research is to identify the obstacles to the dissemination of modern agricultural techniques from the point of view of the agricultural employees in the relevant units in Salah al-Din Governorate, represented by (obstacles related to the agricultural extension system, obstacles related to agricultural research centers, obstacles related to the agricultural equipment company, obstacles related to agricultural departments Obstacles related to farmers, obstacles related to agricultural techniques), and to determine the discrepancy in the opinions of agricultural employees working in administrative units according to some personal characteristics represented in (age, gender, educational level, academic specialization, number of years of extension service, participation in the dissemination of modern technologies, and direction towards the use of modern technologies As well as arranging the research areas in descending order according to the size of the obstacles. The research included all agricultural workers working in the relevant units (plant production, animal production, prevention, extension). Their number reached (158) agricultural workers, and a survey sample of (30) employees was taken, and thus the number of employees subject to research became (128) employees. Agricultural techniques from the point of view of agricultural workers, and it included (57) paragraphs It was distributed on six areas (obstacles related to the agricultural extension system, obstacles related to agricultural research centers, obstacles related to the agricultural equipment company, obstacles related to agricultural departments, obstacles related to agriculture, obstacles related to agricultural techniques). Large, medium, few, very few), a preliminary test was conducted on a simple random sample of the research community with a size of (30) respondents to find the coefficient of reliability and validity. Data unloading and classification The Spss program and a number of statistical methods were used to analyze the data such as (range, percentage, arithmetic mean The results of the research showed that (77%) of the respondents fall within the medium and high category, and thus the level of obstacles to the dissemination of modern agricultural techniques is average tends to rise, and the order of research sites according to the obstacles to the dissemination of techniques was as follows (obstacles related to agricultural research centers, obstacles related to agricultural departments Obstacles related to the agricultural equipment company, obstacles related to the agricultural extension system, obstacles related to farmers, obstacles related to agricultural techniques), as the results showed, there are significant differences in the respondents’ views of the obstacles to the dissemination of agricultural techniques according to some studied variables (age, gender, specialization, participation, direction), while no significant differences appeared in the average size of the obstacles related to (level education, years of service We conclude from this the large size of the obstacles facing employees in the process of disseminating modern agricultural technologies. The researcher also recommends working to solve the problems of agricultural employees in the relevant units in order to facilitate their work in spreading modern technologies among farmers, as well as paying attention to research centers and providing them with sufficient financial resources and taking care of
researchers to enable them From developing agricultural techniques and adapting them to suit the possibility of their application in the field by farmers.
